"The International Space Station is in crisis after hackers managed to penetrate what NASA admits are "significant" computer systems.

The three astronauts on board the Space Station reported last night that email was no longer working.

Hackers are thought to have planted a Trojan in the computer systems at Houston and used the infection to ride the satellite uplink to the Space Station.

The problem has been complicated by the on board computer systems, which are running older software, including legacy code such as Windows 3.1.

Microsoft has said that there is nothing it can do since the operating system is no longer supported with security fixes.

"I am sorry but there is nothing we can do. It is past its deadline," said Professor Brian Offin, Microsoft's head of obsolete operating systems.

"Windows 3.1 is a very old operating system and the technical support team has been entirely subsumed into the Vista troubleshooting team and trust me, they are needed there."

Professor Offin added that Microsoft is not blind to the plight of the astronauts and is searching personnel files for staff who worked on the code, but have since retired and may have time to deal with the problem.

There is no life threatening danger to the astronauts as yet, but the escape capsule that can carry them home has been warmed up and is ready to go, despite concerns that hackers might have reprogrammed that too.""

Why would someone want to hack into an International Space Station and try and put peoples lives at risk? What sort of people are there in this world? People want to attack space stations with viruses. The worst thing is that these people cannot be traced as they hack anonymously making sure they cover up everything. Hopefully the lowlife hackers have not managed to hack into the escape capsule that will take the astronauts home.

Hackers have gone one step to far here, it's not alright when they are messing up peoples computers but it's awful when they try and take peoples lives.

I'll leave you with a question: why do people enjoy hacking into and destroying other peoples computers?

There is a new website called Deezer which lets you listen to music on demand as much and when you want. Google! Google is the answer, obviously it is not just as simple as typing in a video and clicking download but there is a way.

If you type in the following (just click it) on Google then it will list directories of websites of videos relating to your search.

Here I searched for the term 'rugby'. It gave me 312 results. This might not sound like much but it is. You can replace 'rugby' with anything you like from cars to zebras, Google will give you the results.

This is a tough question as there are a number of different ways in which you can decide whether one service is better than the other.

I have managed to narrow down the number of services in contention to two. These are Sitemeter and Stat Counter.

Having past experience with both of these services has helped along the way.

I think that if you want a free counter with a load of information on the persons location then you should get Stat Counter.

If you want your website and the services website to be faster loading and more detailed computer specifications but less on location then you should opt for Sitemeter.

They are two very similar services with Stat Counter beating Sitemeter on professionalism. I say this because it shows a map of where your visitors come from and a graph of visitors, unique visitors and returning visitors which is updated daily to show you how many hits you are receiving. Stat Counter has a log size of 500 entries on the free version so you can only look at the past 500 visitors detailed profiles.

Sitemeter is an easier service to use, the website is fast loading and it is far easier to navigate around.

My overall conclusion is that Sitemeter is the best free hit counter, even though, Stat Counter is better in other aspects of recording your visitor number.

There really is no actual answer to this question other than ones opinion. So the answer to this question will be my opinion, not Google's or any other person or company.

Here is my opinion of the best and top 3 alternatives to Google Adsense.

1. AdBrite




AdBrite has three types of ads that both webmasters can sell and buy. These three types of ads are text ads, banner ads and full page ads.

You can control which ads make it onto your website manually or automatically. You will also be able to set the prices that you wish to sell your ad space for. If AdBrite cannot match what your other advertising programmes offer then you can get AdBrite to display ads from your other network (e.g. Burst, Yahoo, etc).

Any visitors to your site can choose to purchase ad space on your website by clicking 'Your Ad Here' next to or below each AdBrite ad. Advertisers will also be able to find your website on the AdBrite marketplace where you will be represented by their busy in-house sales staff.

The minimum payout is chosen by you, if you want you could set the payout as low as $5. Payout ia in the form of cheques.

2. Yahoo Publisher Network



Yahoo accept four ways of receiving payment. $50 is the current minimum amount before payout. This minimum figure is only accepted when Paypal has been selected as the payment type. The other payment types include a cheque, direct deposit or money put into your Yahoo Search Marketing account.

With Yahoo you can filter out your competitors ads so they don't appear on your site. The ads that will appear will be relevant to the reader and the site content.

The publisher network may also help to improve your site with features similar to Google Adsense, such as, a site and web search.

3. Tribal Fusion




Tribal Fusion receives 19 billion impressions monthly and offers the highest CPM rates to publishers.

Requirements for Tribal Fusion are quite strict. Your site must be/have:

• 2000 unique visitors daily
• Highly targeted, relevant and regularly updated content
• An active user base
• Professionally designed
  

The minimum payout is $50 net profit and Tribal Fusion pays 55% of all the money secured for your website.

Site publishers can control which ads appear on their site. You can block out competitors domain names and specific ads (e.g. gambling, flashing, alcohol related, etc.).

The sites listed here are in my opinion the best alternatives to Google Adsense although there could be others that I have not included that are just as good as AdBrite, Yahoo Publisher Network or Tribal Fusion. I had to narrow it down to my three top choices and these came on top.

How do I get and upload a custom template to blogger?

I have seen loads of cool blogger templates on other blogs but my blog is just boring - a classic blogger template.

Changing the blogger template is actually really simple and only requires, at most, six easy steps. All the steps are pictured in screen shot form to make it easier for you to understand.

Step 1:

Do a Google search for free blogger templates. Choose any of the sites listed, but for the tutorials sake choose the third one down (eblogtemplates.com).




Step 2:

Browse the website under the Blogger category and choose a template you like





Step 3:

Download the template of your choice. Go to the folder containing your file and right click on the zipped folder and click 'extract all'.




Step 4:

Logon to Blogger and navigate to 'Layout' and then 'Edit HTML'.





Step 5:

There you will see a field, click the button next to it that says browse. A Windows Explorer window will then appear. You should then locate your file which will be an XML document.





Step 6:

Finally, click the button next to browse when you have chosen the file you want to open which reads upload.

Once the uploading has finished (should only take a few seconds) you will see a yellow box appear. It should say 'Your changes have been saved. View Blog.' Click on the view blog part. Your blog will then open and you will be able to see your new blog design.

TIP: You should frequently (one a month) change your blogs design because if the same person visits your site everyday they may get tired of the same theme and stop visiting your blog. Readers want a fresh look to your blog.
